Process

From a recording to a resolved case.

Technology identifies the leads. People verify them, and specialist lawyers decide what becomes a claim.

Six stages

How a case is built.

  1. Mandate

The rights owner grants an enforcement mandate and provides master files, ownership details and existing licences.

  2. Scan

Continuous fingerprinting across platform ad repositories, brand accounts and sound pages.

  3. Review

Each match is verified, checked against known permissions and reviewed against the master by a person.

  4. Evidence

Captures, the matched passage, placement and campaign context are sealed in a single, timestamped record.

  5. Legal assessment

Specialist music rights lawyers assess ownership, jurisdiction, grounds and potential compensation.

  6. Recovery

Outreach, negotiation and settlement, and where appropriate a licence for future use.

From detection to a documented claim

Every case starts with a file a lawyer can work with.

Principles

Careful by design.

A match is a lead

No party is contacted on the basis of a machine match. Every case is verified, reviewed and legally assessed first.

Licensed uses are excluded

Existing licences, partners and exclusions are checked before a case is opened.

Lawyers decide

Claims are assessed and pursued by independent music rights lawyers in the relevant jurisdiction.
